Anuva Automation, the Florida-based manufacturer of TiO (Turn it On) automation products, has announced the appointment of Warren Lanza as the new regional sales manager for TiO.
Lanza will have a direct focus on renewed sales initiatives to help current TiO dealers increase their profitability and show prospective dealers the opportunities with TiO.
Lanza has prior experience in music and consumer electronic channels. After studying business administration at University of Central Florida, he became become a certified recording engineer. While working at a Hi-Fi retail store and performing live with his band, Lanza was offered a manufacturer rep position, which later led to him starting his own rep firm.
Lanza brings prior experience with other leading manufacturers in CEDIA and InfoComm channels including SoundStream, Lutron, Crestron and Savant. According to Anuva, his experiences provide him the full perspective from all channels in the CE market as he looks to help TiO and its dealer’s blossom throughout the New Year.
“We are excited to bring Warren Lanza and his industry knowledge to our growing team at TiO,” Sanjay Patel, president and chief executive officer of Anuva Automation, said in a statement.
“His valued experienced in CEDIA and InfoComm channels helps to spread TiO to dealers looking to grow their business. Warren has proven to be a great addition to our growing team of professionals as we look to expand our sales team and add more regional sales managers in the near future. TiO provides a unique approach to home automation because it’s uncommonly simple to integrate into any lifestyle.”
Lanza played an integral role in TiO’s recent price drops and the release of its Home Starter Kit. The kit includes the essential components to install an expandable home automation system that integrates control of two zones of streaming music, ten lighting loads, climate, home theater system and cameras into a single interface on a customer’s phone or tablet.
TiO also announced the overhaul of its Dealer and Distributor programs to make purchasing easier by eliminating back-end rebates and including them in the initial purchase price. TiO price sheets now have multiple columns and dealers and distributors can choose the price they want via quarterly purchase commitments.
“It’s great to be a part of the team of professionals behind TiO home automation,” Lanza said in a statement.
“I have enjoyed working with everyone at TiO thus far because of their dedication to the home automation industry. I look forward to building relationships with each of the current dealers and to forming new relationships with prospective dealers.”
